last night was the very first spectular display of the singapore fireworks festival 2006... last night was the grand finals of 非常 superband... last night was the national day dinner for aljunied grc at kovan hub (former hougang south bus interchange)... so many things happening on the same night and i can only go for one event... i had to go to the national day dinner coz my whole family was going... so i had to sacrifice sff and superband...

the singapore fireworks festival this year was started by the display choreographed by team italy... with their theme "vibrant city" (if i'm not wrong)... very evident that they are very nationalistic, coz the very first display consists of the colours of the italian flag... i wonder if the singapore team will do the same for the display on national day eve...

非常 superband ended last night after 3 months of intense competition... so the champion is ... ... 迷路兵!!!!!! YAY!!!!!! so happy that they won without my vote, coz i dun even know their voting number... i knew that they can win this, given their changing patterns and increasing skill and support in each round of the knockout rounds... now i think i should be looking forward to their debut album, i'm not sure coz i'm not those kind of people who buy albums like buying bread for breakfast... anywayz, congratz to them!

now for this week, only got 2 days of actual lessons, but then these 2 days are the longest of the week... i'm not impressed with this fact, especially when there will going to be a bio lecture right after the national day celebrations in school on national day eve... tmr still need to go for swimming which i hate, though it's much better than running around the track like there's no tomorrow...

impression on new tutors:
_chem - dun really like him, coz he looks like a typical teacher that will actually remind u time and time again that the exams are coming in x weeks (and he really did this)... sometimes i dun really understand what he's talking about and lessons can become quite hypnotizing...
_bio - not that bad... at least i can understand him... qutie engaging, so i dun really feel sleepy during lessons, unless the day is too tiring for me...

they are going to lecture the next topic in their respective subjects, so i'm looking forward to evaluating their lectures...

national day coming in 3 days' time... can't wait for the national day parade to commence... but first, the celebrations in school... i don't understand why the celebrations take from 8 till 11... i agree that the parade lasts for about 1.5 hours, but the rest of the programme got so long meh? i have no idea myself and i dun wish to ponder so much about it...

now still have to finish up some stuff... this week got a nubmer of outings... class outing after bio lecture on national day eve and pcps gathering on 12 aug... at least got such breathers before the next week which is going to consist of bio spa and maths lecture test...
